I’m really passionate about creative founders.
I think they are a unique, brilliant bunch.
I think they are forces of nature that cannot be met by normal coaching methods.
Forces of nature – great rivers, volcanoes, oceans.
They have to be – it takes uncontainable energy to break out and do what they’re doing.
But so much energy can be a lot to hold. And it can be a lot for their team to work with.
This is where founder businesses can go very wrong. They can’t contain the forces they are built on. It becomes destructive.
There is always deep intelligence in what they are doing – but sometimes its heat can burn the place to the ground.
I’m really passionate about helping these founders get to know themselves, and get to know this force that is flowing through them.
I want them to meet themselves for the first time and not feel shame, fear or discomfort around the gift they carry.
I’m really passionate about holding a safe space where the founder(s) and their team can find really simple, practical ways to work together that are generative for everyone.
I don’t think of this as a business conversation.
I think of it as a conversation with nature.
You don’t try to reroute a river – you work with its natural flow and use its power in a way that works for everyone around.
Creative founder-led businesses are no different.
